Appointment of Inspectors.— (1) The Government may, by notification, appoint such persons or such class of persons as they think fit to be Inspectors for the purpose of this Act within such local limits as the Government may specify. (2) Every Inspector shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of Section 21 of Indian penal Code (Central Act XLV of 1860):
