(1) For a period of three months from the commencement of this Act, the provisions of sections 13, 14, 15, 16, J7. shall not apply to any health establishment in existence on the date cf such commencement. (2) (i) Nothing contained in sub-section (1) shall apply to health establhthment, established, main- tained by the State Government, Central Govern- ment, Defenci;, Railway, Public.~ Sector Undertakings and local authority ; (ii) any Psychiatric Hospital, nursing I home li cen~ed under the Indian Mental 1 Health Act, 1987.
