The expiry of this Act at the end of four months from the commencement thereof shall not affect,- (a) the previous operation of, or anything duly done or suffered under, this Act, or (h) any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accruerl or incurred under this Act; or (1) any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation, liability as aforesaid; and any such investigation, legal proreeding or remedy may be continued or enforced as if this Act had rrot expired.
