(1) The Guwahati Municipal Corporation Assam a?d (Amendment) Ordinance, 1995 is hereby repealed. Ord‘a*"c,e saving IV of 1995. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal anything done or any action taken under the Ordinance so rep ealed shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the coiresponding provisions of this Act as if this Act came into force on the date the Ordinance came into force.
