(i) The Gauhati Municipal Corporation (Amend- «avings. m e n t) Ordinance, 1987 (Assam Ordinance No. I of 1987) is hereby repealed. ,(ii) Notwithstanding such repeal any order passed, notification issued, anything done or any action taken under the Ordinance so repealed, shall b’e deemed to have Been passed, issued, done or taken under the corresponding provisions of the principal Act as amended 6y this Act.
