(1) The Gauhati Municipal Cor- " aVing‘ poratipn (Amendment) Ordinance, 1978 (Assam Ordinance No. I of 1978) is here by repealed. THE ASSAM GAZETTE, EXTRAORDINARY DEC. 8. 1978 1183 (2) Notwithstanding such repeal any order passed, notification issued, anything done or any action taken under the principal. Act as amended by the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been passed, issued, done or taken under the principal Act as amended by this Act. U.
