(1) The Commissioner may sanction any estimate for a particular work the amount of which does not exceed five thousand rupees. Power of Commis- lioaer to sanction estimates not exceeding Rupees five thousands and fifty • thousands. (2) If the amount oi estimate exceeds five thou- and rupees but dues not exceed fifty thousand rupees the Commissioner may sanction the estimate with the approval ef the Standing Finance Gommittee. 80 Ultimate exceeding rupeei fifty thousand.
