An appeal shall lie from every order thfS n o^d.er t s passed by the District Judge under section 63 Judge’ to the High Court (2) The High Court shall, subject to the pro visions of this Act, have the same powers, jurisdiction and authority, and follow the same procedure, with respect to an appeal under this section as if it were an appeal from the original decree passed by a Civil Court situated within the local limits of its civil appellate jurisdiction. (3) Such appeal shall oe preferred within a period of forty-five days from the date of the order of the District Judge under section 63: 66 Provided that the High Court may entertain an appeal after the expiry of the said period of forty-five days, if it is satisfied that the appellant has sufficient cause for not preferring the appeal within such period : Provided further that where an appeal has been preferred against an order made under this section, the High Court may, on sufficient cause being shown and on such terms and conditions as it may think fit, stay the operation of the order appealed from.
