(1) Whenever any animal under charge of any person dies, the person in charge thereof shall within twenty-four hours either— (a) convey the carcass to a place provided or appointed for the final disposal of the carcasses of death animals ; or (b) give notice of the death to the Commis sioner or any other officer appointed for the purpose, whereupon he shall cause the carcass to be disposed of.
