(1) In carrying out the duties imposed on sance to'b'e t ^i e Corporation by clauses (1) and (3) of section 7 or caused. exercising the powers conferred upon it by sections 231, 232, 233, 238, 251, 269 and 270 the Corporation shall not cause any nuisance which in the circum stances of the case can reasonably be avoided.
