After Section 40 of the principal Act, the following shall be added as a new Section, namely— “41 (1) The Assam Fixation of Ceiling on Land Holdings (Amendment) Act, 1972 is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, any decision given, order made, anything done, any action taken or any proceedings commenced under any of the provisions of the Act so repea+d and in force imme diately before such repeal shall continue in force and shall be deemed to have been given, made, done, taken or commenced under the corresponding provi sions of this Ac t.”
