Any officer or authority holding an enquiry Act v of mg en- o r hearing an appeal under this Act shall have the 1<08 hatTpower? powers of a Civil Court under the Code of Civil of Civil Procedure, 1908, in respect of — Courts for enforcing attendance, (a) enforcing attendan ce of any person and his examination on oath, (b) compelling production of documents, and (c) issue of commission.
