(1) On the date o f commencement o f this Act the species of fish as enumerative in the schedule- I shall be come under the purview of this Act. (2) The State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, amend, vary, alter, add to, modify or omit any species of fish from schedule I and thereupon said schedule shall be deemed to have been amended, varied, altered or modified accordingly.
