In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Code” means the Code of Crim inal Procedure, 2 of i974, 1973 jn jts application to the State of Assam; (b) "Executive Magistrate” means an Executive Magis trate in the State of Assam ; and (c) words and expressions used herein and not defined, but defined in the Code shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Code.
