Protection and indemnity.—(1) No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Siate Government or any servant of the Stale Government for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or the rules made thereunder. (2) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Committee or any person for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or the rules made thereunder. (3) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government or any servant of the State Government for anything which before the commencement of this Act, was in good faith done or intended to be done for the protection, preservation or management of any property of an evacuee.
