(1) The Assam Elementary Education (Pro- vincialisation) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1987 (Assam Ordinance No. II of 1987) is here by repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done, any action taken under the Ordinance so repealed shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provision of this Act as if this Act came into force on the 27th day of January, 1987 (date of promulgation of the Ordinance).
