(1) The Assam Elementary Education Act, 1968 is hereby repealed. 10 (2) Any of the provisions of the Gauhati Municipal Corporation Act, 1969 the Assam Municipal Act, 1956 and the Assam Panchayati Raj Act, 1972 which are repugnant to any of the provisions of this Act shall stand repealed.
