(1) The State Government may appoint the attendance authorities for the purpose of enforcing attendance in schools. (2) The attendance authorities shall have such powers, functions and duties as may be prescribed. (3) An attendance order on the guardian of a child shall be passed at such time and in such manner as may be prescribed.
