A guardian may be exem pted from causing „ a child to attend a recognised Elementary School I if —(1) the child is receiving education otherwise than in a recognised Elementary School to the satis­ faction of the Attendance Authority ; (it) the child has already completed the stan« dard of elementary education prescribed ; (Hi) there is ro recognised Elementary School within the distance of one mile from the residence of the child, or, even if there is such a school when such a school is not reasonably or conveniently accessible from such residence ; (iv) the child is prevented from attendin g school by sickness, infirmity or any other mental or physical defect accepted as sufficient ground by the Attendance Authority ; or (v) there is any other compelling circumstance which, in the opinion of the Attendance Authority prevents child frcm attending a recognised Elemen­ tary School. l. , . . .
