CH APTER VI Fund o f Loc al Auth or ity and its Ope ra tion •0 The fund of 28 . (1) As soon as the management o f Elementary the local Education is vested in a District Council or a local authority, authority , the State Government shall constitute a fund for the purposes of elem entary education and shall place such amounts out of the said fund as may be necessary a t the disposal of the District Council, local authority , the Assistant Secretary of the State Board and the Block Development Officer concerned, subject to such conditions as m ay be prescribed. (2) In .an Autonomous District the said fund shall be deposited in the fund of the District Council but the fund shall be applied for the purposes enumerated jn section 30. 117 (3) The Assistant Secretary, the Block Develop ment Officer and the Local Authority shall deposit the amount receixed under sub-section (1) in a Govern ment Treasury, Post Office Savings Bank or any other Bank approved by the Government and shall disburse the same in the manner prescribed.
