- S. 1(1) This Act shall be called the Assam Electricity Control (Emergency Powers) Act, 1947
- S. 2Section 2 allows the Provincial Government to regulate or prohibit electricity use for community essential services.
- S. 3Section 3 maintains pre-existing electricity regulation orders in force and treats them as Provincial Government orders under section 2.
