(1) For furthering the advancement of learning and prosecution of higher education and research, there shall be established a Private University under the name and style “The Assam Don Bosco University” in the State of Assam. (2) The details regarding name, location, jurisdiction and Infrastructure of the said University are mentioned in the Schedule appended to this Act. 2 SCHEDULE (See sub-section (2) of section 2) Details regarding name, location, jurisdiction and infrastructure belonging to the Assam Don Bosco University as envisaged under Section 6 of the Assam Private University Act, 2007:-
