Preamble. Whereas it is expedient to amend the Dibrugarh Assam Act University (Amendment) Act, 1967, hereinafter called ol the principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appear ing ; It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
