Prohibition against practising any profession or drawing salary as Me1Uher durin~ the tenure of office as Deputy Speaker.- The Deputy Speaker shall not during tht tenure of his oftice for which he draws safory and allowances- (i) practise any profession or engage in any trade or undertake for remune-ration any employment other than his duties as Deputy Speaker; or (ii) be entitled to any salary or allowance as a Member of the Assam Legislative Assembly.
