(I) The Assam Cnmfoal Law Amendment Savings. Ordinance, 1970 is hereby repealed Assam Ordinance No.II of 1970. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Ordinance as repealed shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the provisions of this Act, as if this Act, had com- menced on the 2nd day of February, 1970 (date of promulgation of the Ordinance). · P.
