Short title, extent and com m encem ent.—(1) This Act may be called the Assam Requisition and Control of Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 1954. (2) It shall have the like extpnt as the Principal Act. (3) It shall come into force at once. 2, Am endm ent o f Section 1(3) o f the A ssam Act XXXII o f 1950.—In sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the Principal Act, for the figures “ 1954” the figures ‘1955” shall be substituted,
