Subject to the provisions of this Act, each Faculty shall have the following powers, namely (a) to constitute the Committees of Courses and Studies in Departments assigned to it; (b) to recommend to the academic Council the courses of studies for the different examinations, after consulting the Committees of Courses and Studies; (c) to recommend to the Academic Council, after consulting the Committees of Courses and Studies, the names of the examiners in subjects assigned to the Faculty; (d) to recommend to the Academic Council the conditions for the award of Degrees, Diplomas and other distinctions; (e) subject to the control of the Academic Council, to organize research in subjects assigned to the Faculty; and (f) to deal with any other matters referred to by the Academic Council.
