In the principal Act, in section 3, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- "Provided that during the period of operation of the Assam Contingency Fund (Amendment) Act, 2007 a further swn of two hundred crore of rupees shall be paid from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Assam into the Contingency Fund". 3.(1) The Assam Contingency Fund (Amendment) Ordinance, 2007 is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such r-!peal, anything done or any action taken under the Ordinance so rep~aled shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this· Act as if this Act came-iato force on the 20th day of June, 2007.
