In ithe principal Act, to Section 3, the following ofSecuon 3 proviso shall be added:- of Assam Act IX of 1950. Provided that during ithe period of operation of the Assam Contingency Fund (Amendment) Act:, 1975, a fur- ther sum of ten crores of rupees shall be paid from and out of the Consolidated Fund of ithe State of Assam into Lhe Contingency Fund of Assam. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Assam by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the ' year ending on the 31st day of March, 1976 and shall be re-tr·msierred from the Contingency Fund to the Con- solidated Fund of Assam on or before the 1st April, 1976· Services and purposes by Major Heads.
