(1) Any transfer, partition or lease of any land in contravention of any provisions of this Act, shall be void and the owner contravening them shall be liable to pay a fine not exceeding two hundred rupees. (2) Any person taking possession of such land by virtue of such transfer, partition or lease shall be liable to be summarily ejected by the Deputy Commissioner or the Subdivisional Officer in whose jurisdiction the land is situate. 10 (3) Nothing in this Section shall affect the right of transferee or the lessee for instituting any proceeding in the proper court for recovery of any consideration paid by him for such transaction.
