In the principal Act, in section 104, in clause (b). for the punctuation mark “.” appearing at the end, the punctuation mark and word or” shall be substituted and thereafter the following new clauses (c) and (d) shall be inserted, namely :- “(c) any officer or custodian who wilfully fails to hand over custody of books, accounts, documents, records, cash, security and other property belonging to a co-operative society of which he is an officer and custodian, to an authorised person; or ■?* (d) any employer who, without sufficient cause fails to pay to a co-operative society amount deducted by him from its employee within a period of fourteen days from the date on which such deduction is made shall be punishable as per provision of clause (b).” Amendment of section 106.
