(1) Subject to the provisions of sub-section(2) of section-66, a member may, at any time after expiry of one year from the date of accepting membership, withdraw from membership in a cooperative society in accordance with the procedure laid down in bye-laws. (2) The withdrawal from membership shall not require the person to fulfill such obligations as were undertaken or assumed as a member, under the provisions of the Act, the bye-laws or any agreement.
