■ Savings of existing societies.—(1) Every society existing at the com- cl th b( st .01 :C( h mencement of this Act which has been registered or deemed to have been-regis® Jr tered under the Co-operative Societies Act, 1912 (II of 1912), shall be deemed it to be registered under this A ct; and its bye-laws shall, in so far as they are not’ « inconsistent with the provisions of this Act continue in foree until altered ot. rescinded and shall to such extent be deemed to be registered under this Act. I (2) All appointments, rules and orders made, notifications and notices issued, lall transactions entered into and al suits and other proceedings instituted under the said Act shall continue and shall, so far as may be, be deemed to have been [respectively made, issued, entered into or instituted under this Act.
