Powers of person appointed under section 37.—During the tenure of office of a person appointed under section 37 such person shall, subject to the control of the Registrar, exercise all the powers and perform all the functions and duties which may be exercised or performed by the superseded body under the provisions of this Act, rules or bye-laws.
