(I) The Provincial Government may, in the manner pres- cribed, notify any local area as a compulsory inoculation area in respect of Rinderpe~t or any other contagious disease specified in the Schedule. (2) A Veterinary Officer may inocuiate any animal of the species specified in a notification under sub-section ( l).
