Where an inmate is reported to the State bles. Government by visiting committee to be incorrigible or to be exercising any unwholesome influence on the other inmates of the institution or is convicted under section 17 or is reported by the Superinten- dent to have committed an offence which has been pre~cribed to be a major Borstal Imtitution offence by rules in · pursuance of the provisions of clause (xv) of section 31 of this Act, the State Government may ..
