(1) This Act may be called the A~sam Board of Revenue (Amendment) Act, 1974. (2) It shall hav ~ the like extent as the principal Act. (3) It shall come into force at once. Amendment 2 of Section :~ • of tbe A•sam Aot XXI of In Section 3 of the principal Act, for ub-section (2), the f illowing shall be substituted, namely- "(2) The Board shall consist of four members to be appointed by . the State Government : 1962 Aa•nclmcnt el Schedule ".I" to the Assam Act .KXI of 19b2 Provided however that in case of any vacancy in the membership of the Board, the Board shall not be deemed to be not duly constituted for the purposes of this Act."
