(1) This Act may be called the Assam Betterment fee and Mooring Tax (Dibrugarh) Act, 1953. (2) It shall extend to the Dibrugarh Subdivision of the Lakhimpur District. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.
