(1) This Act may be called the Bengal, Agra and Assam Civil Courts (Assam Amendment) Act, 2004. (2) It shall have the like extent as the principal Act. (3) It shall come into force at once. Substitution of words and brackets “Civil Judge (Senior Division)” and “Civil Judge (Junior Division)” in Central Act XII of 1887.
