(1) in sub-section (1), for the words "an Additional Deputy Commissioner" occurring between the words "appoint" an d "for" the words "one or more Addi- tional Deputy Commissionersu shall be substituted. 2 (2) after sub-section (2), the following shall be inserted as sub-section (3), namely :- "(3) An Additional Deputy Commissioner appointed for the United Khasi- Jaintia Hills District if and when so directed by the State Government shall also exercise the powers men- tio ned in sub-section (1) in the Jowai District constituted under Government Notification No.TAD!
