Short title, extent and commencement.-(!) The Act may be called the Assam Autonomous Districts Administration of Justice (Miscella- neous Provisions) Act, 1957. (2) It shall extend to the Autonomous Districts of Assam. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may direct and it may be brought into force in different areas on different dates.
