Certain offences to be cognisable.-Notwithstanding anything 1=ontained in the r:!ode of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (Act No.5 of 1898), an I 8 offence under clause (i) of section 20, shall be deemed to be a cognizable offence within the meaning of that Code.
