After sub-section (2) of Section 8 of the princ i pal Act, the following shall be inserted as sub section (3), namely :— “ (3) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Act, the State Government may, by general or special order and subject to such conditions as may be specified in the order, exempt any class of persons from the liability to the entertainment tax under this Act for admission to any enter tainment or class of entertainments.” Md.
