Sh or t title, ex tent an d co m m en ce m en t.— (1) This Act may be called the Assam Amusements and Betting Tax (Amendm ent) Act, 1958. (2) It extends to the whole of Assam. (3) It shall come into force with effect from 1st April, 1958.
