(1) In consultation with the appropriate officers of the University, the Vice-Chancellor shall be responsible for taking such steps as may be necessary for the full co-ordination of teachings, research and extension activities of the University. (2) The Vice-Chancellor shall be responsible for the creation of conditions conducive to maximum progress in the development of new information and technology in its natural, physical and social sciences and their inclusion in the curricula and application in practice throughout the State. (3) The University shall develop its programme of teaching, research and extension education keeping in view the needs of the 19 State shall provide appropriate technical support and consultative advice to the State Government Departments engaged in Agricultural, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Development Work.
