In the principal Act, in seciton 10, in sub- of 1968. (a) for clause (b), the following shall be substituted, namely :— "(b) Three Secretaries to the Government of Assam in the Departments to be decided by the State Governm ent”. (b) the clauses (h), (i) and (j) shall be sub stituted, nam ely:— "(h) One representative of teachers to be selected by rotation from various faculties by the representatives of teachers ; (i) Pro-Vice-Chancellor/or the Seniormost from amongst the Deans/Directors ; (j) A representatives of Indian Council of Agricultural Research” . (c) For sub'-section(4), the following shall be substituted, namely :— ’*(4) The terms of office of teachers and other non-official members shall be for a period of two years and three years respectively and the membership of the M.L.As shall be coterminus with the tenure of the Legislative Assembly to which they are elected.” / 902 THE ASSAM GAZETTE, EXTRAORDINARY, APRIL 18, 1984 ofm“ ctionnt
