"(7) If any member of the Board does not attend three consecutive meetings of the Board he shall be dis qualified from being a member of the Board unless such absence has been caused for circumstances beyond the control of such member”. Amendment g; In Section 1© of the principal Act, in sub-section ?9 oFAssam(3). the punctuation full stop (.) at the end shall be Act X X IV substituted by the punctuation colon (;) and the following of 1968. proviso shall be inserted thereafter, namely "Provided that no person shall hold the office of the Vice-Chancellor beyond the age of 65 years”.
