(1) The Director of Physical Plant shall be tor of Phy- appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval iical Plant.- o f t |le g o a rd t (2) The Director of Physical Plant, shall have the following duties, namely:— (a) to make arrangements for the purchase and maintenance of machinery and other equip ment necessary for the purpose of the University; (b) to make arrangements for the maintenance and construction of the buildings and other structures of the University; (c) to be responsible for the maintenance of the lawns, grounds and gardens of the University campus; (d) he shall be the general custodian of all University property; and (e) such other duties as may be prescribed or as may be assigned to him by the Vice-Chancel lor.
