Power of entry.—Any inspecting officer may with prescribed notice enter into any premises, land or water within the notified area and take such action as may be necessary in order to ascertain— (a) whether any insect pest, plant disease or noxious weed is there presen t; and (b) whether the prescribed remedial or preventive measures or both, as ; „ the case may require, have been taken. 357
