Whereas it is expedient to amend the Assam Advocates' Assam Act No. Welfare Fund Act, 1998, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, XVIII of 1999 in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Sixtieth Year of the Republic ofIndia as follows :-
